Gloversville - Frederick Dobson, age 61, of Gloversville, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville, NY. Born on January 6, 1961, in Point Pleasant, NJ, he was the son of the late William Jr. and Joan (Mars) Dobson of Ephratah, who survives. Fred is a graduate of Oppenheim Ephratah Central School. He worked for many years as a cable lineman and various jobs in home repairs. He is survived by his fiancé and love of his life, Kelly Kelly; four daughters, Emily, Caitlin, Bethany, Katherine; grandson, Dante; sisters, Annemarie Lavalle (Michael); brother, Brian Dobson (Barb); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, Frederick is predeceased by his brother and best friend, William Dobson III, whom he shared his love of music and “jamming out” with. In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
