Mayfield – Lorraine Ann Bousquet Loucks Potocki, age 79, a resident of Mayfield went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2022. She was born on July 14th, 1942 to the late Earl Bousquet and Lucinda Berry Bousquet.
Lorraine attended Mayfield and Northville schools. She went on to FMCC to get her Home Health Certificate. Lorraine was a woman of Faith. She attended many different churches throughout her life. She worked in many department stores, and then owned her own tavern, Lorraine’s Log Cabin. Later she found her true calling was to help people. She worked for Nathan Littauer Hospital and then went into home care as a home health aide.
Lorraine enjoyed bowling, camping, and gardening. She had been a member of the Moose, Eagles, Liquor Dealers Association, fish and game clubs and many senior citizen groups.
Lorraine was a friendly, kind and compassionate woman who wanted nothing more than to do what she could for other people. She was happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, brother Richard Bousquet, two sons Steven and Michael Loucks and her niece Jennie Bousquet.
She is survived by daughter Sandra (Darwin) Graham of Mayfield , son Earl (Maria) Bousquet of Connecticut, grandchildren Brian Graham, Jennifer (Dustin) Sawyer, Athena, Alexander and Adam Bousquet and great grandson, Nolan Sawyer along with many cousins, two step daughters and their children and grandchildren and many foster sisters and brothers.
There will be a graveside service at Prospect Hill Cemetery on May 20, 2022 at 11AM with a gathering to be held at the home of her daughter following the service.
