Johnstown – Alan D. Mattice, age 55, of Johnstown, NY, passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at his home with his loving siblings and Lexington family by his side.
Born on August 26, 1966, in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of the late Richard Sr. and Geraldine (Bradt) Mattice, who survives.
Alan loved to volunteer in his community. In his spare time, he enjoyed casinos and everything New York Yankees. Alan was a simple man, kind, and caring.
In addition to his mother, Alan is his survived by siblings, Richard L. Mattice Jr., Sally Stankes (Robert), Linda Logan (Richard), Catherine Maragno (Robert), Jeri Lynn Wagner, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY, with Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alan’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
