Emily A. Kralovic

Johnstown – Emily A. Kralovic, age 99, of Johnstown, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, with her family by her side.
Born on July 19, 1923, in Johnstown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Viktor and Magdalena (Jarabek) Klena.
She married her loving husband, Theodore R. Kralovic on September 15, 1946. They spent 41 years happily married until his passing on March 16, 1987.
Emily has lived in Johnstown, NY all her life and was a graduate of the Johnstown High School in 1941. She was a 35-year employee of Jacobson Bros. Jewelers as a salesperson and bookkeeper. Emily was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnstown, Women of Moose, New Century Women of First Presbyterian, YMCA Women, and the Coterie Club. In her spare time, she loved to knit, do jigsaw puzzles, and play games on her iPhone.
She is survived by her sons, Charles P. “Chuckie” Kralovic of Moscow, PA and Theodore S. “Teddy” Kralovic (Laurie) of West Fargo, ND and Ruskin, FL; a brother, Richard Klena, grandchildren, Sarah, Michael and Evan as well as 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Emily was predeceased by her companion, Linus Vosburgh, with whom she shared 20+ wonderful years together, as well as brothers Edward, Paul, Stephen, Victor and Ernest Klena, and sisters Marguerite Ralbovsky and Josephine Tiedeman.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY with the Reverend G.W. Blake Blakesley officiating.
Calling Hours for family and friends will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at the Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
Special thanks goes out to the Mountain Valley Hospice, and especially to Sue, Susie, Katie and Meghan, all of whom made several trips to the house to provide direction and comfort to Emily and the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Emily’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
