Arthur HJ “Grub” Hall

Mayfield - Art (Grub) Hall passed away January 17, 2023 at home.  Grub was born on May 7, 1947 to Art and Bivian Hall.  He was a graduate of Mayfield High School.  After graduation he became a home builder with Don Russell builders. Eventually, he started his own business as Art Hall building contractor.  He built many fine homes before retiring.  On a personal note, Grub was the head hippie of the infamous “Commune” on Paradise Point an epic place back in the day leaving unforgettable memories for many at $15 a week.  He went to Alaska twice, once on a motorcycle when the Alcan highway was still dirt, and many other adventures to numerous to mention here.  Grub had a huge heart and will be remembered for always helping his friends.  His giggle and infectious personality is legendary.  He is survived by a sister, Merry Hall several nieces, nephews and many good friends.  Per Grub’s request there will be no services, no memorials, or contributions. Just good memories.  He was a good and caring soldier in this old world and will be missed greatly.
