Gloversville – Helen E Platt 78 of Gloversville died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home. Born in Gloversville, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Dorkis Muddle Frye. She was a print operator at Amsterdam Print for many years. Helen loved being with her family and friends. On October 9,1960 she married Lester Platt Sr. who died in 2014. Survived by her children, Lester Jr.(Diana DeLoria), Delbert(Bonnie), Bill(Lori),Buckie(Lory),Shawn (Brandi),Kimberly(Robert)Caputo, Lisa(Mark)Darling,Melissa Johnson, one sister, nine brothers, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
