Moneta VA – Beverly Hart Siegle, 84, formally of Johnstown, passed away on Nov 21, 2022. Born May 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Doris & Russell Hart. She graduated from Fonda in 1956 and married her late husband Carl later that year.
Bev was an active long time member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Fonda. She was an OT/PT aide for HFM BOCES for many years. Bev was an avid gardener and a long time member of the Kingsboro Garden Club and was an exhibitor at the Fonda Fair for over 50 years winning multiple awards, notably Best Floral Design in 2013. She and Carl were members of the Sagandaga Swingers Square Dancers and also enjoyed cruising and spending time with family and her many close friends. She leaves behind 2 children, 3 granddaughters, step grandchildren & great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.
A memorial service will be held April 4 at Jackson & Betz in Fultonville from 10 to 12n with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers, Mecury One, Wounded Warriors or an animal shelter of one’s choice.
