Johnstown – Carol Gunneson, age 86, of Johnstown, NY passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023.
Born on March 3, 1937, in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Marion (Kusek) Petrowski.
Carol spent her life preaching and teaching the wonderful hope of Jehovah’s future kingdom and many people will remember her fondly in that work.
She was predeceased by her husband, Axel Robert Gunneson and daughter, Alicia Gunneson.
Carol is survived by her brother, Paul (Lillian) Petrowski, her granddaughter, Mikayla (Justin) Gunneson-Rivenburg and nephews, David (Eunice) Gunneson and their children Lauren and Jon, and Daniel (Cora VanDyke) Gunneson and their daughter Cory, several other
nieces and nephews, as well as her spiritual family of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial talk will be given on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 126 S. Kingsboro Ave., Gloversville, NY.
