Northville – John W. Melvin, age 92, a resident of Northville passed away on Sunday March 12, 2023 at the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home.
He was born in Rochester, NY on November 7, 1930. The son of the late John and Margaret Mills Melvin. John was a proud United States Navy Veteran.
He was employed as an Electrician for Local 86 in Rochester for many years.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen McCarthy Melvin of Northville. Children; Shawn (Patti) Melvin, Kelly (Corrine) Melvin, Kevin (Wendy) Melvin and Dawn Holford. One brother Vallance Melvin. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Northville Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.northvillefuneralservice.com.
