Gloversville – Angelina B. Lucas, age 73, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, peacefully at home with her family by her side.
Born on February 7, 1950, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carmen Capparello and Mary Lampman (Capparello).
She was employed with the Albanese Insurance Agency of Gloversville until the onset of her illness.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Rohling (Chris), her son, Daniel Szabo Jr (Dr Sonya Sidhu), 2 step daughters; Ginger Countryman (Mike) and Nancy Case, and one stepson; Tim Case, her brothers; Carmine Capparello, John Capparello (Antionette) and Glen Scribner (Jessica), sisters; Tina Pabis (Mark), Toni Capparello, Mona Jennings (Ted), Sherri Kolacki (Michael), Tammy Scribner, Lisa Quinn (Jason), and Billie Jo Quinn (Nathan), 7 grandchildren; Michala Dann (Daryn), Bridget Valk, Gary Valk III, Daniel Szabo III, Bailey Szabo, Andrew Szabo, Berkley Szabo, Christopher Countryman, Aidan Countryman, Alexandra George, Billee-jean Harden, Kimberlee Harden and Bryanna Harden, one great-grandchild Schylor Gallt, pets; Abigail, Lizzy, and Lily, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Angelina is predeceased by her soulmate, Menzo Case, her 4 sisters; Linda Wallach, Michelle Winney, Emma Christman and Bonnie Adams, one grandson Travis Gallt, and her stepmother, Ann Capparello.
A celebration of life will be held at her Pleasant View Dr. home on July 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions in Angelina’s memory may be made to the animal shelter or pet food pantry of your choice.
