Chris was born on September 30, 1982, one of three children. He attended Mayfield Central High School. On July 29, 2017, he married Rachel Sanford. He was employed by Target Distribution in various roles for nearly 20 years.
Surviving him are his wife Rachel and his beloved children Benjamin and Penelope; his parents, sisters Katrina Martens (Josh) and Julie Stover (Mike), and numerous extended family members, as well as his cat (Ron).
Chris was a devoted husband and father, an amazing and tireless provider, with a stellar work ethic. He deeply loved the children, and never missed a soccer practice or dance recital. He loved his family, often hosting gatherings at his home. He was a true friend: if a friend needed help, he was the first one there, willing to help with the most challenging projects without hesitation. He loved the outdoors… building fires, mowing his lawn, riding four wheelers and snow machines, tending his chickens. He enjoyed playing Magic the Gathering with friends. Chris was a husband, father, son, brother, friend you could count on.
