Janet was born August 18, 1945, in Gloversville, NY, and was the daughter of the late Preston and Dorothy (York) Stuart. She received her education in Gloversville and was a 1963 graduate of Gloversville Highschool. Janet went on to earn her degree from Spencers Institute.
