On behalf of our military personnel serving overseas, I would like to thank all those who donated to the “Trees for Troops” program. Trees, lights, ornaments and menorahs were sent to our military personnel, along with sacks of cards written by school children and Scouts.
It was our goal to try to bring a little taste of home to our troops serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait during the holiday season.
With the support of your donations, we were able to show our nation’s military men and women, along with their families, that we care.
A heartfelt thank you to Assemblyman Marc Butler for sponsoring this worthwhile program.
