One word – tobacco. Too many young people use it. Why? Peer pressure. I am a Mayfield Elementary School sixth-grade student. I will be going into the high school next year. I have things to consider, but cigarette smoking has never crossed my mind.
Every 6.5 seconds someone dies from use of tobacco. That’s about 5,000 people a year. My own aunt died two years ago from use of cigarettes. That’s when I pledged to stay clean and healthy.
If you are a young person addicted to tobacco, you should stop. If you’re into sports, then kiss them goodbye. Tobacco – don’t do it.
