We are clothed in Christ’s image

Do you feel or have you experienced a profound peace and joy?

I have found an inner cleansing, which I cannot fully explain by reading Scripture, and an inner strength. When I studied general psychology at Messiah College in Pennsylvania, I remember a quote from my textbook, “I can honestly say my life has not been the same since. Christ has given me new meaning and purpose to my life.” She was clothed in the righteousness of Christ Jesus. We are clothed in the image of Christ when we receive Jesus as our Lord and savior personally. You are clothed in the image of Christ when you are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. We are clothed in the image of Christ when we receive Jesus Christ into our hearts when we call upon the name of the Lord. Scripture states in the book of Romans, “All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” No man can do good works and expect to enter heaven. (Ephesians 2:8 and 9). We are clothed in the image of Christ when we surrender our hearts to Jesus Christ. Would you like to be on the highway to the celestial city called heaven? Eternal life commences at the moment of Salvation. So:

1. A new believer clothed in Christ is reborn (John 3).

2. A new believer clothed in Christ is reconciled.

3. A new believer clothed in Christ is redeemed.

4. A new believer clothed in Christ is spiritually revived.

5. A new believer clothed in Christ will be bodily resurrected.

6. A new believer clothed in Christ has repented.

To summarize, Jesus stated, “He who cometh to me I will no wise cast out.”
