On behalf of the Gloversville Parade Committee, we wish to thank all who were scheduled to appear in the Gloversville Memorial Day Parade.
Canceling the parade is a very difficult decision to make, and one that has only happened twice before in the history of the Gloversville Memorial Day parade. We are thankful to all who understand how difficult making this decision was and that all of those who were scheduled to participate will plan again and be part of our parade next year. To all the veterans, past and present, who we do this for, we thank you for your service to our country. The canceling of the parade would never cancel our thanks and appreciation to you.
To the community who came out to support the parade that day, lining the streets early, thank you, and we look forward to seeing all next year.
