Prayer service was wonderful

I would like to thank the Rev. William Hodgetts Jr. of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran and the Rev. Dr. John Califano of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran for providing the community with a wonderful prayer service. The prayer service was on April 30. The theme of the day was “From Conflict to Communion Lutheran Catholic Common Commemoration of the Reformation in 2017.” The prayers, readings, music and sermon were inspiring and hopeful for joint efforts in God’s love.

In addition to the Hodgetts and Califano, I would like to thank all who helped in any way, especially Deacon Michael Ryba of St. Stanislaus, the Rev. Robert De Martinis of St. Stephens; the Rev. Dr. John Medwid of First Lutheran of Albany and the Rev. Jonathan Gray of St. Matthews Lutheran of Albany.

If you missed the service, try to attend the next one. You will be glad you did.
