After the remarks spoken most recently out of the mouth of the president of United States, I’m going to say this even though I believe I’m going to make a lot of people mad but I don’t care at all. I cannot, with good conscience, support the incumbent president of the United States, the honorable Donald J. Trump anymore at all. Because of the fact that it is the role of the chief executive to unite this country not divide this country.
Ever since Donald Trump has taken office, America is in worse shape than before he took office. President Donald J. Trump is nothing more than a facist dictator, his administracion and presidency is nothing more than a dictatorship. I tried to support Donald Trump as our president because if our president succeeds, our country succeeds as a whole. Just as Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton said, instead of building walls, we should build bridges and embrace that the diversity that makes our union strong because we’re stronger together as one America not two Americas.
I don’t like the fact that the president of the United States believes that the players in the NFL shouldn’t have the right to kneel because they’re disrespecting the flag of the United States of America which that isn’t true at all. Because they’re not disrespecting the flag of the United States. They’re speaking up for social injustice in America because as an African American and as a person of color in this country, we are treated differently than caucasians in this country.
Even though we came a long way in race relations in this country, we still have a lot to achieve in race relations. If you’re not black, you’ll never know what is like to be black in the live in this country and be like you’re a second-class citizen.
I strongly believe that the current occupant of the Oval Office is nothing more than a racist bigot. He doesn’t like when African-Americans are successful and they speak out against him; he always wants to see people of color always at the bottom of the totem pole. I will no longer support Donald Trump ever again. Our number one goal from now on and the next year is to make sure Democrats win back the majority of both the House and the Senate in 2018 to ensure that Donald Trump is nothing more than lame duck president. In the United States of America, every citizen in this country has the right to exercise their First Amendment right of freedom of speech; if you don’t like it too bad.
I’ve always had so much respect for the office of the president of the United States. I didn’t always agree with the politics of our 43rd president, the honorable George Walker Bush but I never feared for my life. Donald Trump leads our country by fear-mongering. Even though I don’t respect the current occupant of the Oval Office, I still believe that America’s best days are still ahead of us. I believe Americans have learned their lesson by electing a thin-skinned bully president.
Donald Trump has a 38 percent approval rating and 58 percent disapproval rating. No president in the 21st century has had a very low approval rating in their first year in office, like the Donald has. America has woke up and smells the coffee.
