How are your hedgerows?
Do you even know what a hedgerow is? It’s the wild trees and bushes etc. that separates your property from your neighbors. A lot of them have been torn out. Very sad.
No wonder our birds, butterflies and other wildlife is scarce. I have milk weeds, mullens and bees in a birdhouse on the porch.
I also have a very nice young couple next door. He said to me, “do you want all those plants there?” I just said, “yes.”
It takes two years to grow a mullen. It’s so sad. All this infernal mowing.
Yesterday I had a monarch butterfly and a yellow and black one, so beautiful. How many do you have?
