Pine Tree Rifle Club to honor veterans with annual picnic

Every year for the past four years, Pine Tree Rifle Club has done a picnic for our area veterans. This picnic is totally free for our veterans, our heroes who have done so much for our great country. We can never thank them enough for the sacrifices that they have made so that we have the rights of the Constitution of the United States of America.

We are pleased this year to have teamed up with some great area businesses and the STS dinner group to have a picnic this year at the Paul Nigra Center, 2736 Route 30, in Gloversville, NY.

We are sending out this open invitation to all area veterans to please come join us for dinner. We will have food, prizes, a guest speaker, Dr. Gus Kappler, who served in Vietnam to speak about PTSD.

We will give them information, how to get help if needed. all veterans are invited, and they could bring a guest. But you must RSVP to Ashley at (518) 762-5382, Ext. 1017, provide name branch of service and number of family members attending with you. All social distance protocols will be in place. We will also have masks available and plenty of room for social distancing.

If you do not feel comfortable, we will pack dinner to go and you won’t need to leave your car. The dinner will be held on Aug. 20, and it’ll start at 4 until 7 p.m.
