I’m delighted to see that Mayor DeSantis is preparing to run for another term.
Five years ago my wife and I moved from Oregon to the village of Catskill, Greene County.
I work for a non-profit and she is employed as the executive director of our local community center.
Over six months ago, I began my exploration for a community to invest in, searching from Livingston Manor, N.Y. to Bennington, Vt., and settled on Gloversville, in large part because of the vision and integrity of Mayor DeSantis. With a distinguished local career in law combined with extensive travel experiences studying and learning from other communities, Mayor DeSantis brings important vantage points and skills to lead Gloversville’s current revitalization efforts. As someone who has bought and is rehabilitating two buildings in the downtown corridor, I wholeheartedly support his candidacy and look forward to working with him in the future.
