SARATOGA SPRINGS — The 2024 Belmont Stakes at Saratoga logo was released Wednesday, as was ticket information.

The New York Racing Association released both, announcing that tickets will go on sale next month for the four-day festival.

The racing event from June 6-9, highlighted by the final leg of the Triple Crown on June 8, is set to take place at Saratoga Race Course for the first time as Belmont Park undergoes a multi-million dollar construction project.

“NYRA will offer advance pre-sale opportunities for returning Belmont Stakes buyers and reserved season ticket holders for the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course,” states a press release from NYRA.

NYRA worked with Learfield to create the green and gold logo that pays homage to Saratoga Race Course, showcasing the grandstand in the background.

“This year’s Belmont Stakes logo pays tribute to the history of Saratoga, home to an annual thoroughbred race meet since 1863,” stated NYRA's release. “The original four-day meet, which was held on what is now known as Horse Haven, was staged by gambler, casino owner, ex-boxing champion and future Congressman John 'Old Smoke' Morrissey and drew thousands of locals and tourists to the property.”

The grandstand opened to the public in 1864. The current grandstand was designed by Herbert Langford Warren, a Boston architect who also designed the South End Grounds — the first home of the Boston Braves baseball club from the 1870s to the 1910s.

The Queen Ann-style grandstand with a spired roofline at Saratoga was built in 1892 and “is the oldest continuously used grandstand of any professional sport in the U.S.,” states the press release.

“The open, wooden structure features ornate truss and iron work that makes it architecturally unique,” the release states.”

The logo will appear on Belmont Stakes merchandise and at Saratoga Race Course during the festival.
