ROME – Dave Sblendorio scored a game-high 25 points to lead Rome Catholic to a 66-58 win over Dolgeville in a Center State Conference boys basketball game Monday.
Eli Small finished with 17 points for Rome Catholic (8-3 overall), while Connor Marchione added 13 points.
Bryce Dineen scored 19 points to lead Dolgeville (0-10 overall), while Shane Jaquay added 15 points.
On Saturday, Dolgeville dropped a 51-34 decision to Middleburgh in the rescheduled Coach Cutspec Tournament at St. Johnsville.
Adam McMullen led the Knights with 11 points, while Ryan Bechtold scored 10 points and was named to the tournament’s all-star team.
Jaquay scored 11 points to lead Dolgeville, while Dineen finished with eight points.
Dolgeville will face St. Johnsville in the final game of the round-robin tournament on Saturday.
