GHS swimmers top Amsterdam, 107-78

AMSTERDAM – Gloversville won eight of 12 events to post a 107-78 win over Amsterdam in a boys swim meet Tuesday at Lynch Literacy Academy.

Nick Cirillo won the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle for the Sea Dragons, while Wade Inman (200 individual medley), Hunter Pieniazek (100 freestyle) and Skyler Deming (100 breaststroke) also posted wins.

Kristian Santos won the 1-meter diving competition and the 50 freestyle for Amsterdam, while Forrest Lee won the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly.

Gloversville also won the 200 medley, 400 freestyle and 200 freestyle relays.
