H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown bowlers lose to Glens Falls

JOHNSTOWN – Ian Dingman rolled a 257-604 to lead Glens Falls to a 3-1 win over Johnstown in a Foothills Council bowling match at Perry Lanes on Monday.

Justin Jones finished with a 215-603 for the Indians, while Codi Pennock posted a 244-584. Erin Ryan added a 202-556 for Glens Falls, which finished with a 3,414-3,274 advantage in total pins.

Morgan Ruggeri rolled games of 222, 232 and 214 on her way to a 668 series to lead Johnstown.

Jim Marshall posted two games of 193 on his way to a 577 series for Johnstown, while Jay Hadcock registered a 197-523. Ben Empie added a 189-517 for Johnstown.

Hudson Falls 4, Broadalbin-Perth 0

HUDSON FALLS – Brandon Boyer posted a high game of 279 to lead Hudson Falls to a sweep of Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council match at Broadway Lanes.

Ethan Kelsey rolled a 280-692 for the Tigers, while Tyler Colton posted a 246-663. Brian Barrett added a 221-668 for Hudson Falls.

Chris Smith rolled a 214-603 to lead Broadalbin-Perth. Matt Frisch posted a 227-538 for the Patriots, while Cody Husek added a 174-513.

Hudson Falls finished with a 3,762-3,094 advantage in total pins.
