SYRACUSE – Freshman Chris Mosconi, a Gloversville graduate, won two individual events and was a member of a relay victory to lead the Le Moyne College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams to a sweep of Saint Michael’s College on Sunday afternoon at the Ross Sports Center.
The men topped the Purple Knights, 173-100, while the women posted a 149-116 victory over their hosts.
Mosconi opened the meet by teaming with classmates Ben Verdi, Daniel Tartbrake and Craig Carey to win the 200-yard medley relay in 1:45.56.
In the fifth individual event of the day, Mosconi touched the wall first in the 100-yard butterfly in 57.13 seconds, while five events later he registered a season-best time of 1:06.99 to win the 100-yard breaststroke.
