ORLANDO – Broadalbin-Perth graduate Matt Gage, a sophomore on the Siena College baseball team, earned the win on the mound Saturday as the Saints topped Central Florida, 7-4.
Gage pitched five innings, allowing six hits, striking out three and allowing two runs.
It was just the third time the Saints defeated Central Florida in 42 all-time meetings.
Siena (1-2 overall) will travel to Lynchburg, Va. to face William & Mary on Saturday and Sunday.
