QUEENSBURY – The Gloversville Dragons poured in 22 points in the fourth quarter Thursday night but came up short in their Foothills Council game against Queensbury.
Hunter Goodwin and Asa Barnhill connected for 16 points apiece and Barceem Dukes added 10 points for Gloversville in the 63-56 loss.
Charlie Peltz hit for 21 points for the Spartans and Alston Moses hit three 3-pointers en route to his 13 points.
Gloversville returns to the court Saturday when the Dragons host Mekeel Christian in the postponed championship game of the Gloversville Holiday Tournament. Tip off is set for 4:30 at Gloversville High School.
Amsterdam and Fonda-Fultonville will square off in the tournament consolation game at 3 p.m.

HUDSON FALLS – The Tigers rallied from a five-point deficit to outscore Johnstown 19-5 in the fourth quarter to collect their first league win in two years.
Brandon Winchell led Hudson Falls (3-12 overall, 1-10 Foothills) with 17 points, while Christian Henkel added 15 and Matt Connolly had 10 points.
Mike Everest hit for three 3-pointers en route to his team-high 12 points for Johnstown.

GLENS FALLS – The Patriots could not overcome a slow start and a 25-point scoring effort by Glens Falls’ Cam Girard in their loss to the Indians Thursday.
Girard hit five 3-pointers in his game-high scoring performance, while Lee Girard added 15 points and Jake Dailey added 13 points.
Ben Bellandi hit for 20 points for Broadalbin-Perth, while Andre Taylor delivered 16.
