ITHACA – Utica College’s Chris Jones placed 12th in the men’s heptathlon with 3,939 points at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference championships on Saturday.
He placed fourth in the men’s shot put with a toss of 10.42, fifth in the men’s high jump after clearing 1.81 meters, and fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.13 seconds.
Overall, Utica finished seventh.
