FMCC swept by Cecil

NORTH EAST, Md. – The Fulton-Montgomery Community College baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader Sunday against Cecil College, losing by scores of 8-4 and 12-2.

In the first game, Fort Plain graduate Dylan Pechtel was 2-for-2 for the Raiders, while Bryant Solano was 2-for-4.

Nick Pontari took the loss on the mound for FMCC (1-3 overall), allowing six hits in seven innings.

In the second game, the Raiders lost despite holding Cecil to eight hits. FMCC committed six errors in the game.

FMCC will travel to Apprentice School (Va.) on Sunday to begin its spring break trip.
