H.S. Softball Roundup: Fort Plain records 7-1 win

FRANKFORT – Jamie Fredericks pitched a one-hitter, leading Fort Plain to a 7-1 win over Frankfort-Schuyler in a non-league softball game Tuesday.

Fredericks struck out three and walked none to earn the complete-game victory.

Abby Boyer was 3-for-3 with a double for the Lady Hilltoppers (2-0 overall), while Kendra Trembley, Jenna Barhydt, Brianna Florian and Allehah VanLoan all had singles.

ROTTERDAM – Angela Yodis had three RBIs to lead Schalmont to a win over Fonda-Fultonville.

Lauren Mahar earned the win in the circle for Schalmont (2-0 overall), allowing just four hits and striking out 13.

Rachel Peek had two singles for the Lady Sabres, while Taylor Dillenbeck added two RBIs.

Emily Frollo had a single, double and an RBI for FFCS, while Emily Parslow had a triple and a single.

Fonda-Fultonville (0-1 overall, 0-1 Colonial) will host Voorheesville on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
