H.S. Softball Roundup: Lady Panthers defeat Schoharie, 4-2

SCHOHARIE – Anna Husain pitched a five-hitter to lead Mayfield to a 4-2 win over Schoharie in a Western Athletic Conference softball game Monday.

Husain struck out seven and walked two on her way to the complete-game victory.

Mackenzie Biggers had a double, single and an RBI for Mayfield (9-1 overall, 8-1 WAC), while Caitlin Tomlinson had two singles. Lyndsey Barber had a double and an RBI for the Lady Panthers, while Lisa Hime had a single and an RBI.

Sydney Stanley had a home run and an RBI for Schoharie (4-3 WAC), while Brianna Borst and Gabby Danthier each had a double.
