QUEENSBURY – Katie Shevlin had a double and a triple to power Queensbury to a 16-1 win over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council softball game Friday.
The Spartans finished the game with 16 hits.
Taylor Clarke and Brooke Meader each had two singles and three RBIs for Queensbury (11-3 overall 8-2 Foothills), while Britt LaPlant and Sarah O’Brien each had two singles.
Rachel Molloy pitched a two-hitter to earn the win in the circle for the Spartans.
Courtney Oare had a triple for Broadalbin-Perth (5-6 overall, 5-5 Foothills)
