BOONVILLE – Alex Simone hit a three-run home run to lead Adirondack to a 3-2 win over Amsterdam in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest Friday.
Simone’s homer came in the bottom of the season.
Amsterdam scored twice in the top of the eighth on a wild pitch and an error.
The Mohawks loaded the bases in the ninth with no outs, but failed to score.
Amsterdam will travel to Utica today for a 7 p.m. contest.
