AHS girls tennis wins opener, 6-3

AMSTERDAM – Amsterdam won four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches on its way to a 6-3 win over Scotia-Glenville in a non-league girls tennis match Wednesday.

Kristie Kaczmarek, Audrey Flint, Caitlin Gannon and Gabby DiSalvi each won singles matches for the Lady Rams.

Molly Monge and Prabha Singh won at No. 1 doubles for Amsterdam (1-0 overall), while Olivia Marsicano and Amber Richardson won at No. 3 doubles.

Sam Montage and Elizabeth Esker won singles matches for Scotia-Glenville.

Laura Ciotoli and Braneli Brere won at No. 2 doubles for the Lady Tartans.
