JOHNSTOWN – Quarterback Salih Banks passed for 145 yards, and ran for 175 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Glove Cities Colonials to a 29-6 win over the Oneonta City Stallions in a Northeastern Football Alliance contest at Knox Field on Saturday.
Josh Mason had five catches for 129 yards for the Colonials, while Mark Thompson rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Preston Kornegay rushed for 76 yards for Glove Cities (7-3 overall), which led 22-0 after three quarters and 13-0 at the half.
Matt Lee added a 37-yard field goal for the Colonials.
Defensively, Javon Jones had four tackles and a sack for Glove Cities, while Gary O’Neal had 4 1/2 tackles. Eric Saleh added four tackles, while Alex Heath had five tackles.
Hasan Welch had an interception for the Colonials, while Schuyler Duross had a fumble recovery.
Glove Cities now awaits its opponent for the NFA playoff, which will begin in three weeks.
