JOHNSTOWN – The Johnstown Lady Bills soccer team evened their record at 1-1 with a 9-0 non-league shut out over Schenectady Friday afternoon.
Megan Anagnostopulos and Morganne Dick netted two goals apiece for Johnstown (1-1), while Kendra McCoy, Sara Kosowicz, Ciara Solby, Lexus Williams and Mallory Baldwin all had a goal apiece.
All the goals came in the first half of play.
The Lady Bills will open their Foothills Council campaign Thursday at Glens Falls.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Christian Brothers Academy put 36 shots on goal but only two found their way past Sir Bills goalkeeper Andy Camarra.
The teams played through a scoreless first half in the opening round match of the South High Soccer Tournament.
The Brothers broke the scoreless deadlock with his shot into the upper corner two minutes into the second half.
With 23 minutes remaining, Luis Rockwood put a long shot into the back of the net for the 2-0 final.
The Sir Bills return to the pitch at South Glens Falls High School for a second-round match against Schuylerville.
