UTICA – Dolgeville graduate Lora Allen had a team-leading 11 assists for Utica College in a 3-1 non-conference loss to Oswego State on Wednesday.

Oswego won by scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-16.

Utica (4-6 overall) will travel to Hartwick College on Friday for a 4 p.m. match.

OSWEGO – Dolgeville graduate Lora Allen, a sophomore on the Utica College volleyball team, had 12 assists in a 3-0 loss to SUNYIT at the Oswego Tournament on Saturday.

The Pioneers lost by scores of 25-19, 25-11 and 26-24.

In their second game Saturday, Utica lost 3-1 to Marywood by scores of 13-25, 25-22, 25-14 and 25-22.

On Friday, Utica split its two matches in the tournament.

In the first match, the Pioneers defeated Wells 3-0 by scores of 28-26, 25-12 and 25-23.

Allen had a team-high 18 assists and 10 aces.

In the second match, Utica lost 3-1 to St. Lawrence by scores of 26-24, 25-18, 24-26 and 25-10.

Allen had 14 assists for the Pioneers.

Utica (4-5 overall) will host Oswego on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
