BROADALBIN – Justin Marek connected for four goals, while Francesco Mastrocinque had two and Ryan Dingman one to power the Patriots to their first victory of the season, 7-0, over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council contest Wednesday.
For the match, Broadalbin-Perth out shot Glens Falls 29-2 and held a 2-0 edge in corners.
Patrick Reese made 13 stops in net for Glens Falls (0-3-0 overall, 0-1-0 Foothills) while Devin Page was called on to make one save for B-P (1-0-0 overall, 1-0-0 Foothills).
Queensbury 2, Johnstown 0
JOHNSTOWN – The johnstown defense held the Queensbury shooters in check for most of the first half. Howver Chris Goodemote connected on a hard drive into the upper corner to give the Spartans a 1-0 half-time advantage.
Both teams picked up their intensity in the second half with Eric Paige delivering Queensbury’s second goal with 15 minutes off the clock for the final score.
Andy Camarra stepped up his game in goal for the Sir Bills (0-2-1 overall, 0-1-1 Foothills) with 18 saves on 20 Queensbury shots. The Spartans’ Tyler Raymond made one save on six Johnstown attempts.

Northville 3, Canajoharie 1
CANAJOHARIE – Will Wilson and Danny Reidell had unassisted first-half goals and Wolfgang Reinke scored unassited in the second half to lead Northville to the league victory.
Canajoharie’s Logan Salsa broke up the Falcons’ (1-0-0) shut out bid with a penalty kick conversion with four minutes left in the match.
Northville outshot Canajoharie (0-1-0) 22-4 in the match, while Zachary Young recorded 13 saves in net for the Cougars and the Falcons’ Tim Monette made three stops.
