GLOVERSVILLE – The South Glens Falls Bulldogs dominated play during their Foothills Council boys soccer match Monday at Gloversville High School.
South High (6-3 overall, 6-1 Foothills) received an early goal when Devin Hazewski finished off a pass from Alec Potter just over a minute into the match and never looked back.
Potter, Kyle Ogden, and Teddy Bruschini added first-half goals to hold a 4-0 margin at the break.
South Glens Falls moved to a possession game in the second half to secure the 4-0 shutout.
The Bulldogs outshot Gloversville 17-1 for the match, while holding a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
Evan Brooks notched one save in goal for South High.
Junior varsity call-up Steve Kwak made 13 saves in goal for the Dragons.
The victory was the sixth straight shutout for the Bulldogs.
Thomas Kirk and Kwak turned in strong efforts for the Dragons (2-4 Foothills).
Queensbury 3, Broadalbin-Perth 2
QUEENSBURY – Chris Goodemote and Jon Meacham had a goal and an assist, leading Queensbury to a Foothills Council win over Broadalbin-Perth.
Cole Crotty also scored for the Spartans, while Jimmy Doty added an assist.
Logan Ackley and Francesco Mastrocinque scored for Broadalbin-Perth.
Tyler Raymond made two saves for Queensbury (8-1 overall, 6-1 Foothills).
Devin Page made three saves for B-P (6-2 overall, 5-2 Foothills). The Patriots will travel to Glens Falls on?Thursday for a 4:15 p.m. contest.
Glens Falls 5, Hudson Falls 1
GLENS FALLS – Sean Hooker scored four goals, leading Glens Falls to a Foothills Council win over Hudson Falls.
Willy Herrmann also scored for the Indians (1-7 overall, 1-5 Foothills), while Logan Kunst and Tanner Sax each had an assist.
Will Knapp scored the lone goal for Hudson Falls (1-6 Foothills), while Ignacio Silva had an assist.
Patrick Resse made three saves for Glens Falls, while Kyle Rich made nine stops for the Tigers.

Middleburgh 3, Canajoharie 0
CANAJOHARIE – Middleburgh posted first-half goals from Brady Smith and Nick Righi en route to beating the Cougars.
Austin Roney scored off a second-half direct kick to secure the victory.
Middleburgh outshot Canajoharie 15-5 for the match. Austin Smith made three stops in goal for Middleburgh, while Zachary Young made 15 saves for Canjo.
Mayfield 1, Mekeel Christian 0, OT
MAYFIELD – After battling to a scoreless tie at the end of regulation, Todd Briggs slipped a pass from Jordan VanNostrand past Lions goalkeeper Jacob Kahler in the 94th minute of play to pick up the WAC victory.
The Panthers held a slim 8-5 edge in shots, while recording seven corner kicks to four from Mekeel.
Lucas Van Nostrand made five stops in goal for Mayfield, while Kahler made seven stops.
“Josh Ivancic and James Winsman did a nice job of moving the ball quickly and in the back,” Mayfield coach Jon Caraco said. “Timmy Javarone and Bobby Gates were able to match Mekeel’s speed. In the second overtime, Mayfield earned a corner kick the Ivancic sent into the box. Jordan VanNostrand got his head to the ball and knocked it down. Todd Briggs hit the loose ball into the open net.”
Northville 5, Sharon Springs 0
NORTHVILLE – After a scoreless first half, the Falcons caught fire and connected for five second-half tallies.
Dan Reidell put three balls in the back of the net for Northville to go with one apiece from David Onzo and Brian Ginter.
Kalob Russell assisted on two of Reidell’s goals, while Onzo and Nate Edwards also picked up assists.
Northville outshot Sharon Springs 26-2 and held a 10-1 edge in corners.
Northville improves to 6-0-2 in WAC while Sharon Springs drops to 0-6-0.
Berne-Knox-Westerlo 3, Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville 0
BERNE – Nick Nagengast scored twice, leading Berne-Knox-Westerlo to a shutout win over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.
Tate Repscher also scored for the Bulldogs, while Sam Abbott and Jimmy McGill each had an assist.
Trevor Haack made 11 saves to earn the shutout win in goal for BKW (5-1-1 overall, 5-1-1 WAC).
Nate Trumble made 16 saves for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (2-3-1 overall, 2-3-1 WAC).
Fort Plain 2, Duanesburg 1
DUANESBURG – Fort Plain improved to 2-5 overall and 2-5 in Western Athletic Conference play with a 2-1 win over Duanesburg.
The Eagles slipped to 0-4-2 overall and 0-3-2 in WAC play with the loss.
Schoharie 3, Galway 1
SCHOHARIE – Cameron Schultz and Rich Martino each had a goal and an assist to lift Schoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Galway.
Devon Brooks also scored for Schoharie.
Travis Longworth scored the lone goal for Galway on an assist from Casey Mello.
Justin Montione made five saves for Schoharie (7-1-1 overall, 6-1-1 WAC).
Rob Baron made two saves for Galway (2-5 overall, 2-5 WAC).
