SCOTIA – Owen Fingar scored three goals and had an assist to lead Scotia-Glenville to a 5-0 win over Gloversville in a Foothills Council boys soccer contest Wednesday.
Mike Palleschi and Dan Clune also scored for the Tartans (4-1 Foothills), while Billy Bean added an assist.
Gloversville slipped to 2-3 overall and 2-3 in Foothills Council play with the loss.

Mayfield 4, Fort Plain 0
FORT PLAIN – Josh Ivancic had a goal and an assist to lead Mayfield to shutout win over Fort Plain.
Matt Messina, James Winsman and Todd Briggs also scored for the Panthers, while Matt Telfer and Jordan VanNostrand each had an assist.
Lucas VanNostrand made seven saves to earn the shutout win in goal for Mayfield.
Robert Thomas made three saves for Fort Plain.
Northville 1, Schoharie 1
NORTHVILLE – Wolfgang Reinke scored a first-half goal for Northville in a 1-1 tie with Schoharie.
David Onzo assisted on the goal for the Falcons.
Will Vedder scored the lone goal for Schoharie with just 24 seconds left in the second half on an assist from Devon Brooks.
Tim Monette made 10 saves for Northville (4-0-1 overall, 4-0-1 WAC), which outshot the Indians 29-14.
Justin Montione made 17 stops for Schoharie (4-0-1 overall, 4-0-1 WAC).
Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville 2, Galway 1
ST. JOHNSVILLE – Devan Battisti netted the game-winning goal with 36 seconds remaining in regulation, lifting Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville to a win over Galway.
Dylan Klock scored a first-half goal for the Wolves, while Tristan Engle had an assist.
Taylor Hartman scored the lone goal for Galway.
Nate Trumbull made five saves for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.
Saratoga Catholic 3, Canajoharie 0
SARATOGA SPRINGS – Liam Rice scored two goals, leading Saratoga Central Catholic to a Western Athletic Conference win over Canajoharie.
Luke Spicer added a goal and an assist for the Saints, while Keegan Murphy and Michael Naughton each had an assist.
Joe Schmidt made nine saves to earn the shutout win in goal for Saratoga Catholic.
Zach Young made five saves for Canajoharie.
Berne-Knox-Westerlo 5, Sharon Springs 1
SHARON SPRINGS – Nick Nagengast and Maclin Norray each scored two goals to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo to a win over Sharon Springs.
Dom Woodmansee also scored for the Bulldogs.
Tyler Bianchine scored the lone goal for Sharon Springs on an assist from Mason Handy.
Trevor Haack and Dom Martin combined to make seven saves in goal for Berne-Knox-Westerlo. Richard Kendle made 12 saves for Sharon Springs.

DUANESBURG – Austin Roney and Brody Smith scored to lead Middleburgh to a win over Duanesburg.
Kyle Walter scored the lone goal for Duanesburg on an assist from Mitch Hulbert.

Cohoes 4, Fonda-Fultonville 3
COHOES – Matt Bluteau scored the game-winning goal in overtime, lifting Cohoes to a win over Fonda-Fultonville.
Bluteau scored all four goals for the Tigers.
Christian VanAvery scored twice and had an assist for Fonda-Fultonville, while Stiven Florez also scored.
Stephen Galarneau made 10 saves for Cohoes, while Tyler Folmsbee made nine stops for FFCS.
