GALWAY – Rachel Jones finished with 10 service points, seven digs, six kills, four aces and two blocks, leading Galway to a 3-1 win over Mayfield in a Western Athletic Conference match Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles won by scores of 10-25, 25-17, 25-16 and 25-15.
Brittany Orminski had 12 digs, six kills and three points for Galway (5-0 overall, 5-0 WAC), while Emily Zawisa posted 10 kills, five blocks and three digs. Rachel Sherman added nine points, seven kills and five digs for the Golden Eagles.
Jordan Marshall finished with eight points, six digs and four blocks for Mayfield (4-1 overall, 4-1 WAC), while Kaylee Bumpus had 14 kills, seven points, six blocks and two digs. Mackenzie Biggers posted 15 assists and seven points for the Lady Panthers, and Bailey Ward added five kills and two blocks.
Saratoga Catholic 3, Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville 1
ST. JOHNSVILLE – Emilie Brownell finished with 16 service points and five aces to lead Saratoga Central Catholic to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.
The Saints won by scores of 16-25, 25-22, 25-16 and 25-17.
Kaylie Fish had eight points, six assists and four aces for Saratoga Catholic, while Liza Orsini had 10 points, nine kills and five aces.
Brittany Ambrosino had four aces, two kills and two digs for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (1-4 overall, 0-3 WAC), while Shelbey McCumber posted eight assists, four aces and four digs.
Katie Pabis finished with three aces, two kills and two digs for the Lady Wolves.
Canajoharie 3, Middleburgh 0
MIDDLEBURGH – Canajoharie improved to 5-1 overall and 5-1 in WAC play with a sweep of Middleburgh.
The Lady Cougars won by scores of 25-17, 25-16 and 25-22.
Kyla Garen had six kills for Middleburgh, while Deanna Keller had eight assists. Sonny Dickerson posted five kills for the Knights and Saige Burton added five assists.
Schoharie 3, Mekeel Christian 0
SCOTIA – Emily Pieniazek finished with 20 service points, leading Schoharie to a sweep of Mekeel Christian Academy in a Western Athletic Conference match.
The Indians won by scores of 25-15, 25-15 and 25-14.
Angela Simone had three kills for Schoharie (4-1 WAC).
Berne-Knox-Westerlo 3, Duanesburg 2
DUANESBURG – Shannon Stone had 10 kills and 10 blocks to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo to a WAC win over Duanesburg.
The Bulldogs won by scores of 27-25, 25-23, 16-25, 17-25 and 25-22.
Michaela Horlacher had 20 assists for BKW, while Kathryn Salo had 34 digs.

Amsterdam 3, Troy 1
AMSTERDAM – Cassidy Orocho posted six assists, five aces and three kills, leading Amsterdam to a win over Troy.
The Lady Rams won by scores of 27-25, 25-14, 21-25 and 25-17.
Brittanie Brown had four assists, three aces and three kills for Amsterdam (1-3 overall, 1-2 Big 10), while Yari Laboy posted four aces and four kills. Cassandra Santiago had three blocks for the Lady Rams and Destinee Smith finished with two aces and two kills.
Victoria Hailet had five aces and two kills for Troy, while Bethany Dudley finished with five kills. Christy Gordon added six kills and two aces for the Flying Horses.
Amsterdam is slated to travel to Catholic Central on Thursday for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
