DUDLEY, Mass. Nichols College senior Anna Dyakiv, an Amsterdam graduate, was named Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Dyakiv posted a 3-0 weekly record at first singles and teamed with Cristina Szepanski to author a 3-0 record at first doubles.
Including the trio of straight-set singles victories, the combined six wins led Nichols to team triumphs over conference opponents Curry and Salve Regina – both of which earned berths in the upcoming CCC Women’s Tennis Championship – and a triumph over local Division II rival Assumption.
The Bison will host either No. 4 Curry or No. 5 Gordon in the semifinals of the CCC Tournament on Thursday at 2 p.m.
