ONEONTA – The Utica College volleyball team went 1-3 at the Holiday Inn Invitational hosted by Hartwick College this weekend.
Utica went 1-1 on the first day, falling to Oneonta State 3-1, before rebounding to knock off the City College of New York, 3-0. On Saturday, UC fell to Lebanon Valley College 3-0 and the host Hartwick College 3-1 in the second match of the day.
Dolgeville graduate Lora Allen, a sophomore setter, had a team-best 63 assists on the weekend as well as five service aces.
Mayfield graduate Cassi Brancato also played for the Pioneers this weekend.
Utica (8-20 overall) will host Sage Colleges on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
