Bolton tops Northville girls, 5-2

BOLTON LANDING – Olivia Seamans scored four goals, leading fourth-seeded Bolton to a 5-2 win over fifth-seeded Northville in the quarterfinals of the Class D Tournament on Saturday.

The Eagles trailed 2-1 at the half before scoring four unanswered goals in the second half to earn the victory.

Abigail Seamans also scored for Bolton, while Sarah Calzada, Erin Courchaine, Molly Schoder and Kimberly Wright each had an assist.

Mary Ryan and Lyndsey Wadsworth scored first-half goals for Northville, while Veronica Arceri and Hannah Coupas each had an assist.

Andi Pfau made eight saves to earn the win in goal for Bolton, while Taylor Fancher made 10 stops for Northville.

Bolton (9-6-1) advances to the Class D semifinals to face top-seeded Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville at Schuylerville High School on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Northville finished its season with a 7-10 overall record.
