Girls Soccer Roundup: FFCS loses to Cobleskill

FONDA – Morgan Loder finished with nine goals, leading Cobleskill-Richmondville to a 13-0 win over Fonda-Fultonville in a Colonial Council girls soccer contest Saturday.

Kate Billington scored twice for the Bulldogs, while Margaret Tryon also scored twice and had six assists. Hannah Almy and Emily Stewart each posted two assists for Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Marissa Quimby and Kristen Kruglak combined to make eight saves for Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Ashley Hulbert posted 19 saves for Fonda-Fultonville.

Maple Hill Tournament

Canajoharie 5, Albany 1

SCHODACK – Jenelle Dillenbeck finished with four goals and an assist, leading Canajoharie to a win over Albany in the opening round of the Maple Hill Tournament.

Jordyn Logan also scored for the Lady Cougars (11-3 overall), while Ariannah Logan had three assists.

Mollie Kather scored the lone goal for Albany.

Lauren Balfe and Andrea Dingman combined for five saves for Canajoharie.

Emily Andrews made 20 saves for Albany.
