TROY – Christopher Radliff of Schenectady won three matches in the stepladder finals; including a 275-179 victory over tournament leader Jeh’ron Cherry of Albany to win the Capital District Youth Scholarship Tour tournament held at Alpha Lanes on Saturday.
A field of 51 bowlers (37 boys and 14 girls) competed in the tournament and earned $1,170 in scholarships; bringing the season total to $11,070.
Johnstown’s Tyler Cramer was 10th overall with a total of 796 pins, while Johnstown’s Logan Brandt (76) was 19th.
Johnstown’s Morgan Ruggeri (733) was 31st and Johnstown’s Andrew Sitterly (683) was 39th.
The next CDYST tournament will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Sportsmans Bowl in Rotterdam. It will also offer optional Junior Gold qualifying for any 2015-16 CDYST members who have competed in at least two prior tournaments this season.
