DOLGEVILLE – The Dolgeville volleyball team placed sixth at the Dolgeville Finale Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.
Mount Markham, Tully and Herkimer all finished with 8-2 records in pool play, with Mount Markham winning the team title in a tiebreaker.
Little Falls was fourth with a 3-7 record, Central Valley was fifth at 2-8 and Dolgeville was sixth at 1-9.
Mount Markham’s Ellie Ainslie was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, while the Mustangs also had Claire Ladlee and Rachel Burke named to the all-tournament team.
Tully’s Grace Chaffee and Lexi Hamilton were named to the all-tournament team, along with Herkimer’s Paige Klock.
Rounding out the all-tournament selections were Little Falls’ Caira Miles, Central Valley’s Brooke Macisco and Dolgeville’s Lindsey Coonradt.
