FFCS bowlers lose to Mechanicville

AMSTERDAM – The Fonda-Fultonville boys and girls bowling teams lost to Mechanicville in a Colonial Council match Wednesday at Kelly’s Imperial Bowling Center.

In the boys match, Josh Kalwas finished with a 210-587 to lead Mechanicville to a 26-6 win.

Jeremy Connelly had a 212-564 for the Red Raiders, while Jason McClements posted a 210-562. Thomas Griffen rolled a 183-509 for Mechanicville and Tyler Herring had a 200-505.

Noah Kavelaar recorded a 223-597 to lead Fonda-Fultonville.

Mechanicville finished with a 3,153-2,689 advantage in total pins.

In the girls match. Abby Carola had a 214-571 to lead Mechanicville to a 31-1 victory.

Haley Groat posted a 192-549 for the Red Raiders, Erin Mastropietro posted a 215-534 and Kate Bee added a 219-489.

Dakota Livingston rolled a 146-421 to lead Fonda-Fultonville.

Mechanicville finished with a 2,863-1,972 advantage in total pins.
