FMCC women edge North Country, 71-68

SARANAC LAKE – Moet Jenkins scored 18 points to lead Fulton-Montgomery Community College to a 71-68 win over North Country Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference women’s basketball game Wednesday.

My’eesa Grant finished with 15 points for FMCC (16-5 overall, 9-2 MVC), while Rylie Smith had 13 points. Abby Boyer added 11 points for the Lady Raiders.

Romeira Tucker finished with a game-high 29 points to lead North Country, while Alexis Brice added 17 points.

FMCC is scheduled to host Clinton Community College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
